DIC STARTUP CHALLENGE
Dépor Innovation Center is the Laboratory of technological innovation in sport of RC Deportivo de la Coruña and, together with GaliciaSports360, is launching the 1st Edition of the DIC Startup Challenge.
We are looking for entrepreneurs with the most innovative ideas, projects, tools and
companies whose main mission is to transform the sports industry with a unique
technological solution.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Startup Challenge is a great opportunity to access the largest sports innovation ecosystem in Galicia.
Companies will also have access to the possibility of conducting pilot tests with renowned sports entities.
In terms of funding, access to a network of investors specialised in the sports industry. And in terms of company visibility, it offers maximum dissemination of the disruptive idea in social networks and local and national media.
PRIZES
Among the 10 selected to present their projects at Startup Day, the top 3 in each category/phase will receive the following PRIZES:
3rd place: POC with RC Deportivo de La Coruña+ Fast track Final Phase Innovation AGAXEDE + Visibility in social networks and Media.
2nd place: POC with RC Deportivo de La Coruña + Fast track Final Phase Innovation AGAXEDE + Visibility in social networks and Media.
1st place: POC with RC Deportivo de La Coruña + Free participation and Stand at the Galicia Sportech Congress 2023 + Fast track Final Phase Innovation AGAXEDE + Visibility in social networks and Media.
- Setting up the team
- Definition of the MVP
- Potentiality of the idea / innovation
- Feasibility of the business model
- Current traction
- Strategic relationships that support the project
– Feasible: Is the value proposition sufficient to meet the needs of the market?
– Viable: Is the proposed business model economically sustainable?
At the Startup Day, the jury will evaluate the presentations of each startup on the basis of the following criteria:
- Pitch design: Is the format of the presentation attractive and interesting?
- Pitch content: Does the presentation cover the key aspects of the business idea?
- Pitch communication: Is it entertaining and have all the concepts been explained
correctly? - Pitch time: Has the team been able to condense the information in 5 minutes?
